This page explains how information entered in the enquiry and full-sample access forms is handled in the current version of the website.
Information entered in the forms
The enquiry form may include your name, organisation, work email, decision or issue, relevant geography, sector, required output and timing. The selected-work access form may include your name, organisation, work email, requested file, decision question or issue, required output and timing.
Do not enter trade secrets, identity documents, financial-account details or other sensitive personal data in these forms.
Enquiry form behaviour
The enquiry form does not send a message automatically. It converts the information you enter into an email draft on your device addressed to emreerol@hotmail.com and emreerol.uw@gmail.com. The message is transmitted only if you send it from your email application.
The form content is not stored in a China Desk database in the current version of the website. Once you send the email, it is handled through your email provider and the receiving email service.
Full-file request behaviour
Information entered in the selected-work request form is transferred into a pre-addressed email draft on your device. No information is transmitted unless you send that draft from your email application. The website does not store the form data in a database.
Completing the form does not automatically arrange a call, request a proposal or accept a service.
Purpose of use
Information that you choose to send by email is used to evaluate and respond to the request, identify an appropriate research scope, arrange an introductory call where suitable and prepare a proposal. It is not added to a marketing list without separate permission.
Cookies and analytics
The current website does not use a PDF-access cookie, advertising cookies or behavioural-profiling cookies. If analytics or other tracking is added later, this notice must be updated before that change is activated.
Confidentiality and secure transfer
If a confidentiality agreement or secure transfer method is required, contact China Desk before sending documents. The initial website forms are not intended for confidential files or sensitive transaction material.
